They are very special. the most interesting place was the zoo inside. there are many animals, such as, tigers, elephants, zebras and monkeys.

two years ago, i came into this city of and started my college life , the most memorable journey of my life. i was just a shy and little girl that time. all the things seemed fresh to me: new faces, large library and physics lab etc. i breathed the air of college greedily, i was curious about everything.the class given by the teachers are excellent.they provide us with information not only from our textbook but from other sources as well.i actively involved in student union and varies of association. but soon i realized that i do not make full use of my spare time ,so i got a part-time job to help a junior student with math lessons besides,i also took part in activities concerning public welfare. we taught the kids there who could not afford school, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us--future teachers. the enrichment of experience taught me the significance of modesty,responsibility,tolerance,and perseverance.
and now i have been here two years. recalling to the two years, i think i have to talk about one thing--learning. learn how to study independently, learn how to get along with others, learn to love, learn to… oh, there are too much things we have to learn.

laid-off workers, typically regarded as the victims of economic advancement, are subject to desperation that being unmeployed has brought on them. but, encouragingly, we have witnessed some of them striving hard to rebuild confidence toward life and discover new opportunities for demonstrating their values.
although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and even avoid unexpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to love our lives, to have dreams, and to cherish hopes.
every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day. as for me, i choose to be cheerful.

Our environment is the place in which we live, but it is being ruined by us.
There is a story about house and trees. It is said that a man’s house was surrounded by a lot of trees. Though the wind was strong, that man could have a good rest under the trees. How comfortable the life was!
One day, that man wanted to enlarge his house, so he cut down all the trees. Then the autumn came without the protection. The strong wind blew the roof of the house into the sky. The whole house was gone with the wind. What a pity!
But that’s the price people have to pay for destroying in the ecology balance. People shouldn’t be short-sighted. Protecting the environment is everyone’s task.
As you know, there are four kinds of pollution. They are air pollution, water pollution, waste pollution and noise pollution. But what can we do to solve the pollution? I think, firstly, we can make cars that don’t pollute the environment. We can ask companies to use modern clean technology.
In some big cities, we can limit the number of cars. Secondly, we can try to use lewater and make sure that we do not pollute the water. We can tell factories that they are not allowed to pour waste water into the lakes and rivers.

Trees werecutting down, animals were running away. Tall buildings were built! At thebeginning, people liked the new city,but later something bad happened. All kinds of monsters showed up: rainmonster, hot monster, wind monster and sand monster. People felt sick with theenvironment, because the new citybrought a lot of pollution. People missed the forest, the animals and thelovely city they used to live in. But they were not able to change it at all.They became homeless and had to abandon their city. The goals of 20xx, which every member state pledged to meet, were such as, elimination of hunger and poverty, drastic reduction in child mortality rates, reversing a spread of AIDS and other deadly diseases, etc. Now, six years later, almost half way to the final year of 20xx, do we see any signs of realizing these goalsToday, half the world- about three billion people, still live under two U.S. dollars a day; about 270 million children have no access to safe water, 11 million children die before they reach the age of five each year. Do we come to harness the spread of the AIDSThe answer is also “no”- and indeed AIDS is spreading faster and wider than ever before. What is even worse, with the wake of the Iraqi War, the nuclear crisis in Iran and unsettled situations in many places, the visions of us young people today are often limited- but the limited vision (that) we do have and care about every day
