教學目標：
1、教授u.s要求學生根據地圖來了解美國在地圖上的位置以及關于美國的相關常識。
2、可以讀、寫、說出并且 懂“u.s”know 可以說出并且口上懂，do you know ? yes i know. no i don’t know
3、激發學生對英語的持久興趣，培養運用語言進行交際的能力，鼓勵同學們自己合作并能互幫互助。
教學重難點：
能用自己的話向其他人簡單介紹美國這個國家。
教具準備：
教學過程：
復習（一）出示世界地圖指著中國問：
what’s this country?
what colour is this country?
what’s the capital city of country?
what county is east of china?
what do we speak in china?
who can try to talk aboat china’s flag?
(二)指著加拿大地圖問：
what’s this ?
what colour is this country?
what do they speak in canada?
what is the capital city of canada?
what country is south of canada?
who can describe canada,’s flag ?
新授：

指著地圖：this is the map of the u.s. we can also call it the united states. the “u.s”is short for the united states
(一)小組討論、交流自己所知道的所有美國的常識
（二）出示世界地圖指著美國問：
