能力:重點學習并操練句型what day is it today?及其正確回答
情意:培養學生樂于開口說英語,并用英語進行交流的習慣

【教學準備】投影片,錄音機,實物掛歷、學生自帶小臺歷、單詞卡片
【教學過程】
1. free talk,為學生創設一個良好的學習氛圍。如:today is the first day of the new term. welcome back to school, boys and girls. nice to see you again.之后教師可與多位學生進行簡單的交談,增進師生情感。
2. ask the students to say something about the things done during the winter holiday and then ask some students to come to the front to say something about it and see who does a better job.
3. 教師出示收集的歌謠,激發學生的學習興趣,然后再導入句型和詞匯教學。
歌謠:how many days has my baby to play?
how many days has my baby to play?
saturday, sunday, monday,
tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday.
saturday, sunday, monday,
hop away, skip away.
my baby wants to play.
my baby wants to play every day.
4. 教師出示掛歷,引導學生復習saturday, sunday (讓隨讀生朗讀)
5. 學習monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday.從讀音和拼寫兩方面記憶單詞。并告訴學生七天就組成了一個星期,即a week。
6. 教師用醒目的顏色把掛歷上當天的日期和星期圈出來,自問自答:what day is it today? it’s monday.并板書。讓學生盡量明白問句的意思,學生可嘗試回答。然后,學生看板書讀句子。其間,教師可提醒學生注意day和today中ay的發音是相同的,書寫句子時,注意星期的首字母永遠大寫。
7. ask the students to do a pair work to practice the dialogues of “ what day is it today?” and the answer “ it’s …” and check to see if they have well master the sentence pattern.
8. 學生出示自帶的小臺歷,同桌之間用what day is it today? it’s…進行問答練習。一個同學任意翻到一天,問另一個學生“今天是星期幾”,另一個學生很快地作出回答,答對才能反問對方。在熟練問答的基礎上,老師可從每組中選出一位學生到講臺前比賽,問得熟答的快的為勝。
