教材簡析:
本單元是book 3b的總復習單元,側重歸納了第七單元至第十一單元所涉及的語言項目。通過復習,鞏固已學過的英語字母、單詞及日常交際用語。教師可根據學生學習的實際情況,在字母、詞匯和會話三個方面有針對性地復習,把所學的知識有機地聯系起來,提高操練密度,加快操練節奏,增大操練容量,以提高復習課的效率,提高學生綜合運用英語的能力。
通過第七單元至第十一單元的教學,要求學生能聽、說、讀、寫字母ll-zz,字母教學至此全部結束,教師在復習過程中,應向學生強調掌握二十六個英語字母的重要性,要求學生能按字母順序熟練背誦、默寫字母,教師應盡可能采用多種教學手段,激發學生學習字母的興趣,幫助學生扎扎實實地掌握二十六個字母。
第七單元至第十一單元中的單詞分為六類:居室、食品、衣服、球類、樂器和運動項目,復習過程中,可以將新舊單詞相互滾動操練,并有所側重,以鞏固學生對所學單詞的掌握。

本單元是前五個單元的復習單元,著重歸納了這五個單元的詞匯及日常交際用語。由于學生已有一些英語基礎,教師可以在復習一至五單元的單詞及語言點的同時,復現book 3a中出現的有關詞匯及習慣用語。教師應激發學生的學習興趣幫助學生更好地掌握所學知識。
在前五個單元中,要求學生掌握字母aa-kk。 教學中,教師應采用靈活多樣的教學方法,充分調動學生學習的積極性和主動性,避免分化現象在該階段出現。
本冊教材look and learn板塊中的單詞部分是復現book 3a的同類單詞。復習前,教師可根據學生掌握情況加以區分歸類,復習時力求做到要求明確,重點突出,以便學生牢固掌握單詞。
