設置場景,實現情景教學
教師可以根據第90課第二部分的內容(JOY失足落水,SMITH夫人救女兒)設計一項報道“救出落水兒童” 實際任務:
1)教師設定兒童落水地點和事件經過。
2)教師畫出描述兒童落水并被營救的現場“照片”數張。
3)教師分別為各個小組分發打亂次序的現場“照片”。
4)教師向各個小組交代任務:用英語為各張“照片”寫說明,以便發給《中國日報》。
5)學生根據交代的任務安排好事件發生的次序。
6)學生討論對各張“照片”的英語措辭。
7)學生合作完成此項任務。
8)各小組之間互相進行相互評價,選出最好的說明交代《中國日報》。
9)教師進行整體評價。
在小組活動中教師要引導學生盡量使用有限的英語進行交流。
設置對話內容 完成語言教學任務
教師可以設計一項“購買所缺食品”的任務讓學生來完成。
先讓學生設計出所需的物品,完成下列表格:

根據上表,要求學生完成以下幾個任務:
1)學生反復操練食品的名稱。
2)用英語表達自己喜歡和不喜歡的食品。
